I am a former wildlife biologist who suffered a spinal cord injury many years ago. Although my days of field work are over, biology continues to intrique me. I am particularly fascinated by subcellular level responses to ecosystem changes. We also don't know near enough about the thousands of fungal species that exist all around us.
In my writing I work to connect many aspects of biology in a fast paced story. I hope the fungi spring to life and remain in your thoughts forever.
Please join me on Facebook every week for Mushroom Tuesday where I'll post a new tidbit to make you laugh or gasp in awe. Find me at
In real life, I live near Olympia, Washington. I love quilting, retrievers, September and dark chocolate.
